I will go right trashing "Enviros" until their hypocrisy stops!

All they have accomplished is to move the all this supposed enviromental damage to third world countries - and most of our jobs with it too. Then they keep right on with their piggish consumption like the "ugly americans" they really are. Its "I got mine, now you go without"

Most environmental lawsuits are instigated by self-appointed private "gaurdians of the planet", who were not elected, nor even appointed by those who were. Its those goofy laws enacted by the donkeys in congress back in the 70s that gives them any standing to sue, and federal money to do it with too. Before that, elected or properly appointed officials (such as the Forest Service) regulated our natural resources (though imperfectly). At least we didn't have the extremist mobocracy that governs now.

I believe real conservationists such as John Muir, are rolling in their graves! He understood the way to preserve things was to manage their use - not return to or even preserve prehistoric nature.

I will go right paying no heed to "Enviro-maniacs" until they actually practice what they preach; ie, shut off their electricity, turn off their boom boxes, use a horse, walk, eat buggy vegetables and raw rotting meat, get their infected water in buckets from the town square, etc. And to those ultimate extremists that claim overpopulation - I will take them seriously when they show us they really mean it - by voluntarily aborting themselves retroactively.

BTW - As others have mentioned here, I too left the madness in Caliphonyia - moved to a state where your neighbors actually share the goodness of the land and look out for each other. And the railfanning is great too. There are still many places like that in America, but sadly, the west coast ain't one of them.
