A Railroad Poem

This was written around 1984 (as I recall) but was thinking back on something
that I had witnessed in 1977, on a day when I was at Bound Brook, NJ. The light was
terrible and I didn't really know how to take pictures yet anyway.

I stood at the end of the platform and watched this old CNJ (Conrail owned by
then) RS3 drill cars (east coast for switch, US east coast for shunt) at a small
yard and across the platform track (which was literally in the platform back in
those days).

In writing this, I was trying to catpure the moment with words that I hadn't
caught very well with the camera.
