The railfan in the picture

The young heavy set fellow in the picture was actually a local fan, from Jonesville, VA I think. I remember he was very excited about the prospect of seeing a Maersk double stack train that was going to start running on the Clinchfield route. He had never seen a stack train. We exchanged address and he sent a huge envelope of local employee timetables!
