To my knowledge, niether Peninsular or San Jose Railroads (both owned ny SP) ran on Story Road. That said, east of the WP crossing on the North side of Story was the location of Remillard Brick Works. It would seem possible that they paved with bricks. There was a spur off the WP to the brickworks but that was about 100 yards to the North. Remillard did have a short railroad of their own and I would guess that it was possible it ran out to Story.

Remillard shut down in the mid-60's
