I am one of those "city slicker" hunters, and you know what? I can tell the difference between a cow and a deer or elk. What I can never understand is every year I read about someone shooting themselves (in the foot mostly) while they are cleaning the gun. The old hunter that I hunted with, who taght me the care of firearms, told me many a time before we started to clean them:

"Make sure it is unloaded and breech opened".

I not shot myself or any other person.
