What does Chinese steam locomtives have to do with anything??? They were running on the US long before Obama came into power AND they are only here because various tourist train operators wanted to have them here, not because they were part of any scheme for the Chinese to take over American railroads.

I plan to vote for Obama, in part, because Romney would be a distaster for public transportation and Amtrak. If Amtrak goes down the tubes, you can kiss most rail excursions good-bye.

As for freight railroads, the volumes of CSX and NS traffic are as high in Pennsylvania as I've every seen freight trains in nearly 40 years of railfanning.
