Favorite caboose rides

One of the leftover passenger operations (post-Amtrak) was the Soo Line mixed train. In 1985 I completed a big loop trip in Ontario by VIA, ONR, and AC with a ride back into the U.S. on the caboose mixed train from Sault Ste. Marie (Mich) to Gladstone.
There were two swivel chairs facing rearward equipped with seatbelts. I occupied one for the entire trip. Neat trip!
