Chris Kilroy's site is of excellent photographs of trains. It's not of pictures interesting to railfans. The difference between the two is significant, sometimes overlapping, and causes many railfans, not understanding that, to criticize the site unfairly. Chis is a very competent photographer. Search for his pictures. I have nothing to do with the site except to try to get them to accept my photographs. They have accepted 1000+ over the years and rejected many times more.
Here is a recent rejection because of "Bad Cropping: Most often this means that the composition of the photo is poor as it relates the cropping of the image." My ego says it's perfect as is and I have no idea what the scanner didn't like.
Often a scanner will tell me correctly what's is wrong with a picture. I fix it and it is accepted. This one stumps me. Suggestions?
