Exactly. I don't understand Mr. Hunter's rant as the ROW is owned by the VTA and much of it will be used for mass transit. It's part of the larger BART extension projects that will also use the ex WP from near Warm Springs down through Milpitas yard. Abandoning the freight easement and common carrier responsibilities is a business matter quite different than surrendering the line to development.
