Thanks for your kind remarks, Sir.. Originally, there had been talk about building a "reverse loop" at end of track (MONTEZUMA) (SN Station # 750140) MP 49.98
MOLENA is SN Station # 752140 MP 51.97
RIO VISTA JUNCTION is SN Station # 758140 MP 57.78
DOZIER is SN Station # 465140 MP 64.55
SAXON was SN Station # 480140 MP 79.71
MOLENA has an existing passing siding. A LONG one..
There used to be a passing siding too, at SAXON, but the track was pullded up by UP from Dozier to Saxon in 1993. DOZIER had a full WYE. UP pulled that out too. It is too bad that when the WRM folks got some 21-miles of track from UPRR that they didn't persuade them to leave in the Wye at DOZIER with maybe a 300-foot stub or so on the North End leg. Oh well..
We used to always say that if there had been a farming family living at Montezuma named HALL, they'ed be known as the "Hall's of Montezuma".....
