At the time, I didn't view what we did as clandestine. But I was concerned about explaining
if we'd gone on the ground or started a fire. I felt a lot better once I had the engine back
over the switch and onto museum rail. Taking water took all night with the garden hose
and we'd used a little for the trip. This all took place early in one evening almost 40
years ago.
