No "bleeding" at Caltrain or Metrolink, just an agreement for real and useful capital investments, in the rail passenger systems people actually use, and that actually make some sense.

Don't worry to much about what an ignoranct reporter bleats. You are about to see a great switcheroo, and it will be a good thing. Ignorant voters voted for foolish wording by some corporate/politico slick dicks, because they want a decent rail system. The system they voted for in that foolish ballot language is not a cost effective investment, but people still want decent trains.

So the good news is, that the courts will toss Coalinga to Oildale EIS/EIS, after the election, because it sucks. Then the Federal monies will be able to be reprogrammed to other, far more cost effective and eligible projects that are in many cases actually "shovel ready" for construction.

Don't believe everything you read in the "crusading" press.
