I like the original better. Sure, it's underexposed by a full stop (or more), but to me that's not as bad as the over-saturated colors and blown out grain. The important elements are visible and striking enough in the original.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the 1960-1970 era "south of the border" and "WAAAAY" south of the border photography that John West, Tom Moungovan and others have shared here. Some of the vest stuff on this forum.
