DARN! And all along I thought it was spelled w-a-t-e-r, with a corrosion inhibitor and some pink or yellow-green dye added.

BTW, ehtylene glycol isn't a poison itself, it's your body which metabolizes it into a neurotoxin. The new eco-friendly anti-freeze uses propylene glycol, which, so to speak, is a little further up the paraffin ladder, and therefore more expensive. Glycols can be thought of as "double alcohols".
