Thanks for the detailed answer from someone in the know Jim. I'm glad we got a chance to ride the Zoo loop for a first and last time this summer.

I guess the idea of two train operation where the default is to not proceed until the other train is contacted makes sense. Three train operation sounds a bit more complicated.

Overall, as a career long railroader I was very impressed with the operation and the trackwork involved. Good for all you you that have kept this a success.
