Contained in the photo webpaged link below does anyone know the specific name of this location located between the Donner Ski Ranch and Sugar Bowl Ski Resorts by the shed tunnel off of Donner Pass Road where the SP Water Tank Cars are shown:

These look like the same ones that were parked down at the yard in Colfax as well. Right?

Have these cars ever been used to connect and fill water to a fire truck of the CDF or a local ire Department and a CDF water dropping plane or helicipter as well for additional fire fighting use?

Such tank cars could be used in the Southern California firefight as well, especially if the fire gets near the railroad tracks. Does BNSF or UP have any down there?
