I do enjoy these Flavio Lage pictures from the southern hemasphere. These pictures show what appears to be either a line that was formerly electrified where the catenary has been removed, or (Hopefully) a line in the process of becoming electrified.

This line is meter gauge and thus it wouldn't be the former Paulista in Brazil, as that line was standard gauge (I THOUGHT)!

Reminds me of how the Milwaukee looked in the years after they dropped their electrification. They couldn't get the copper down fast enough to sell on the scrap market before the price of scrap copper tanked!
