Guys....Amtrak is a service...I doubt it will ever make money or pay its way but its a system that we must keep going and increase in all area's in the U.S. I'm sure there is waste in dealing out the money, but this goes on in every business.
The GOP wants to privattize Amtrak and I doublt any business would want to pump money into the operation only to watch their money go away....Again...this is a service and if any thing... more money needs to be added to it so service can improve...There are a lot of programs that are a waste of money and if any thing....Amtrak should be one to take care of instead of putting a strangle hold on the system....
