The real issue is the Government-Corporation duopoly that has America by the short hairs. Reds and Blues are simply the same Government-Corporation duopoly keeping you occupied with non-issues while they fleece you to fund their constantly-for-maximum-profits co-operation. If you vote for either party, you are part of the problem. Our republic was founded on representation, not on the reigning party duopoly. The only thing that changes when we shift from one administration to another is who gets subsidized and who gets taxed more, or vice versa. We must break the party system, return to individually representative government, fund essential services and the vote on what we choose to support or not support. End all subsidies, implement a flat tax, and return to a truly representative government. And while we're at it, end all corporate welfare, ensure those who receive welfare also work for it, help only the truly needy, not those who simply choose to live on the dole, and set term limits; as in, serve any one office only once, no running for a second term, and enforced terms of private sector employment between political terms. That way representatives can stay in touch with reality, not turn into fat cat career politicians. Just my $0.02 worth.
