The LA&SL (UPRR) Kelso, CA. depot is also the headquarters of the Mojave National Preserve, with vistor's center inside. The lunch counter and entire building was restored to original design for the most part. The lunch counter serves cold food, no hot lunch, but I thoroughly enjoyed spending my lunch there a couple of years ago. Certainly worth a visit!
