It's good to see some of these folks are so upset. It's just too bad some of them don't actually appear to have read what I've said about wrongs committed by both sides of the political spectrum in the current CHSRA fiasco, without filtering these thoughts with their particular brand of partisan lens?

Most of us here on this site actually like passenger trains and probably would like to see more. Some of us don't think that what's been done at CHSRA, thus far, makes much sense. But, some of us actually believe that it's a good thing to try make things work better, instead of just whining about how terrible everything is.

Some of us even make an attempt at assisting those of good will on both sides of our political divide to improve rail passenger service, and do it in a way that the taxpayer is protected from waste, fraud, and abuse of power. Some of us still work with all sides to find consensus on common goals and seek compromise that results in effective action. And, most of the folks on this site know well my views as an "equal opportunity" offender of both political parties various stupid policies regarding rail passenger service, even those of the current President and his administration, including criticism in this thread.

But hey, I understand that it's getting close to the election, and I understand that some folks are getting a little sensitive, and seem to make simplistic assumptions, and get very upset, without reading much of what I actually said which was criticizing both parties.

I really don't worry too much about what folks think of me though, since another beautiful fall is just around the corner, and the loons will be migrating soon......
