Speaking of tall trees when the 844 goes east over the Feather river canyon there are A row of very tall trees at sloat just east of Spring Garden. I will be up in one of thoes trees wating for the train. I got UP freights from out of them. What A great vista it is from way high up. I put my latter up agenst the trunk and up I go.I got A shot of the 844 from out of A tree in the Cold Stream canyon in April of 2009 when it came west.
