Severe Duty you are correct on your track numbers. Although it is interesting to note that the tracks were reversed in SP days and the north track was the number 2 and the south the number 1. They changed postions between Norden and Eder as the number 1 went over the top of the number 2 at the east end of Tunnel 41. The SP sent their trains east from Truckee on the number 2 track. But since the UP has changed the numbers they now run east of Truckee in the ABS on the Number 1.
