Acela testing in NJ
This guy did the math with video frames and the length of the train.
Watch the 135 MPH run by compared to the 165, 135 seems like a crawl.
I use one of these for fun on the highway and rail lines. Accuate within 1 MPH and I (and a friend of mine) have been able to detect speeds of trains over a mile away...all for $89 when it was available. I can only assume that the model III has the same or better results.
Arlanda Express at 198 km/h (123 mph) - Rotebro + Radar gun
Bushnell Speedster II This has been replaced with the III model now.
These radar guns are EU and FCC type accepted and is perfectly legal to use. I have tested the model II with another of the same model and one did not interfere with the others readings...so the 'its illegal because it causes interference' line just doesn't hold water.
