There are new (1996) concrete snowsheds at both ends of Stampede Tunnel. The short tunnel 4 just to the west has sheds on each end, too. The one on the east end of Tunnel 4 is wood, maybe a hundred feet or so long, and very visible. There is a short one beyond the concrete portal on the west end of tunnel 4 but it is pretty overgrown and not very recognizable.
