Nice shot, Drew.
Technically speaking, the train is approaching South Junction, which is still 1/2 mile ahead of it. This curve is @ the BLM South Junction Campground. If you had opened up the lens a bit to the right, you would have seen my white Chevy Pickup in space # 3, where the missus and I were spending the night. The missus and I were bagging a similar shot as yours, Drew, just a bit uphill and to the West ( under the power pole at the top of the ridge). We were quite fortunate to get down to trackside for the 4449's photo run - by, with some cool shots as the train backed up around the corner, then came charging towards the crowd assembled @ North Siding Switch South Junction. Once I start up a Photobucket account I hope to post some of my shots from the weekend.
BTW Drew, what did the BNSF Railroad cop have to say to all you foamers assembled on the road leading to the campground ???
