I've been shooting a video up in the Bay Area for a week now including Niles Canyon. During the week UP like to run 2 freights back to back around 8:30 am. I would put them in Livermore around 8am. Kind of dead during the middle part of the day. But things start up again with the ACE trains in the afternoon and a few freights.

I would recommend if possible a drive down to Niles Junction, lots of actions in the mornings.
