Thanks, Margaret, for your response.

I assumed, incorrectly, that the Northern California Railroad club no longer existed because it did not have any Internet presence. I can understand an organization not having an Internet site, but when an Internet search failed to generate any indications of recent activity, I thought that NorCal was no longer around.

I rode the March 2002 San Francisco - San Jose excursion with 2472 which was sponsored by NorCal. That was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the Bay Area. Has NorCal sponsored any excursions since then?

Unfortunately, I do not live in the San Francisco Bay area and am not able to attend the NorCal meetings.
