Eastern Washington Gateway Problems...

In discussion with a local grain operator today in Coulee City, the Eastern Washington Gateway is having problems moving cars in Wilbur and Coulee City due to the lack of motive power in service.. Rumor has it up there that the "locals" said that a locomotive "blew up" on thursday. There are about 80 loads on the line and about 70 or so empties waiting to go be distributed along the line.. According to the MRL list, MRL #260 is on it's way to assist the EWG SD45's.. It is unknown if leased or sold to the EWG.. Does anyone know what loco(s) failed?? Where did it(they) fail at?? Anyone from the Spokane area know anything????

Thanks,
Zachary Hastings
