I am putting together a history of the SP facilities in Niles, California, and I was wondering if anyone out there in internet land has any good photos or memories of the place before everything was ripped out. I have already collected a lot of good material for this project, but I do not have enough information on the worker housing that had been on the site. I would be very interested in knowing more about the Roadmaster's House, Section House, Section Foreman's House, and the 4-family bunkhouse. I have the dates of their construction, and I have a floor plan of the bunkhouse, but anything else, such as approx. dates of removal, photos, etc, would be terrific. Anyone remember when the water tanks were removed? I would guess by 1960?

Thanks,
