Tehachapi line

I noticed on Fri, taking the old road home to Tehachapi, that the UP is adding a second track from about the end of double track at Sandcut (?) east (south)to at least the first siding. I'll go that way again today and see if I can find out how far the double tracking is going. If I remember right, this is the first major improvement since the Santa Fe paid to lower the tunnels to run double stacks (and of course when the UP rebuilt the line after buying the SP).
