The Portland - Vancouver area will most likely be more successful than the "Tacoma Trench"; however, from what I saw last time I was up there they have a whole lot of trackwork to do before it is up to Class I in order to run passenger at even 15 mph.

I'm sure the Temples know what they are doing and with the extremely high fuel prices right now it is probably the best time to contemplate their business plan. With low ridership and high overhead costs it's probably best to put any money you are going to LOSE out of pocket into the track maintenance necessary to make money once things turn around.

You know what they say about opinions, though.
