The museum shop staff in Carson City are keeping busy with the restoration of Carson and Tahoe Lumber and Fluming Company 2-6-0 "Glenbrook" and replacing the tubes in Virginia and Truckee 4-6-0 25. The completion target for the Glenbrook is mid-2014. The photo shows the narrow gauge locomotive's running gear in the foreground while the boiler is on the shop floor behind V&T 25. V&T 25 will be back in service for the 2013 operating season. Progress is well underway to completing the installation of a third rail to museum trackage for the Glenbrook's operation.
