It was a piece down by a reporterette from a Chicago station on a show on headline news channel 202 on Dish also hosted by reporterette.

It was all filmed in Chicago Union Station on the north side. The interview was based on Amtrak raising their fares 80% starting tomorrow. The Amtrak rep based the raise on their fuel efficiency and environmentally sound operations and the fact that they have locked in all their fuel costs. You would think this would lower fares.

At the end of the piece the reporterette said basically for any other reason you should ride AMT cause of the RR history. It was abit hokey but heh...if it gets them to ride more power to them. Plus how often does CNN do a positive Amtrak piece.
