Things are busy and looking up on the KFR. The new business is coming from increased shipments from several of the existing customers, both on the San Poil side and Waneta side. On the San Poil side, service is increasing from two to three round trips per week. On the Waneta side, service is scheduled to go from five to six days per week. Interchange and local service in the valley is also projected to increase to six days per week. There are also several new customers in the works that will require more service. As for the new jobs, one will be a daylight job, and the other is to be a relief job. Not sure how that one will be structured yet. Also, not sure how the current employees will move around once these new jobs are established. There is only one "night" job, which goes on duty at 1800, and is the interchange run to Chewelah, amongst other duties. It doesn't hurt to apply, and ask questions if you get called. Hope this helps.
