There long has been the argument that the "richer" states should be net "contributors" to the
Federal projects list and since they were prosperous it was only right that they should give more
than they receive. It's an eye opener to get out of California and see that most of the area east
of California is way more construction and business active than the Golden State. Mom was pretty
much right about that goose and the golden egg thing.
