Hi Tom--
It was the 4274 Trip. When the train got ready to depart RENO on December 1, 1957 and return to Sacramento for the last time, it was officially designated as the "second section" of Train # 27, the "OVERLAND"..

What was sad and an insult, was that later on in March-'58, sitting in the Roseville deadline, still fully serviceable, "27" was still displayed in those markers.
Hope this info helps. There is quite a discussion on the STEAM board, with photos, on that "other" group..
