YOU'RE ALL DOOMED !!!!! Bbwwwhhhuuuaaahhh... The SKY is FALLING, too.
Hey !!! Wanna get some CHEAP Hydro Power !!! Just hook your car's alternator up to the toilet !!!
But seriously, folks : Recall that one of SCE's predecessors, Pacific Light & Power, started a large Hydro project in the Sierras above Fresno back about 110 years ago. Ever hear of Big Creek ??? After the PL&P / SCE merger, SCE expanded the project greatly. Most of this power is transmitted to SoCal. SCE is also a partner in Hoover Dam. Oh wait -- I forgot. California and the Intermountain West had a below - average winter snowpack -- OOPS !!! ( Never mind about my Alternator-to-Toilet thingie, you will have to BROWN-BAG it this summer !!! ) Not to worry -- Up here in the Great Grey North(west) we have 110% of our normal water supply. All of Bonneville Power Authority's dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers are going great guns !!! Just send us all your money; we'll send you the juice. ( Celilo is one of BPA's switching stations )
