And also, strategicly sold off by the SP while it still looked good, then the Oregon & FRA $$ started pouring in. However, unlike NWP, the locals & Tillamook county have supported it and put in a good share too. A neat piece of railroad, difficult to operate even in decent weather, an accessable employer for fresh railroaders, SD-9's and open to special train operations.
