The line was always owned by the UP or O.W.R.R.& N.Co from Dishman to Manito where the original UP line diverged to Tekoa and back through to Plummer. The UP line from Manito to East Spokane was used by the Milwaukee on a rental basis. The Milwaukee Road owned the line from Manito to Plummer Jct., which was sold to the UP in 1980 when the Milwaukee pulled up stakes west of Miles City, MT.
