True -- funny how the "Wooden Axle Lines" used to innovate. One day on the way to the Tie Pile to get my engine at WO, I took a pic of the very first car, SP 513300, with two SP containers -- XSPU 880692 is the top one, the bottom one's reporting marks are obscured -- all instrumented up and coupled to the blue test caboose, sitting on one of the packer tracks. The Cal State RR museum now has the car, along with a couple of containers.
