There was another posting several days ago, perhaps over on The Other board saying that it was used on one of the Cascades to Eugene, but had developed some sort of mechanical issue.

The BN unit was parked at the UP Eugene Yard until BN figured what they were going to do with it. It could be too that while parked for several days, the fuel tank might have run dry, since the engine was no longer running.
