I am literaly sickened by the thought of turning over the majority of the 1869 brick shop buildings to become twee California shops by a twit Director of California State Parks. The "developer" wants $350 million to work on the site. What is the State getting for this money -- at least above the table? Historic preservation has been sold down the river!

The State should get all of the shop buildings. Only a complete fool would maintain that they should all be rebuilt to code and used within the first decade.
