Huh? BC Rail - maybe some problems, but Thompson they've been trying to operate for about 100 years. CN must know something about railroading to keep bringing in the dough like they do.

As for the BCR side, besides the attempt to not use helpers originally what have they done that is so questionable? Perhaps the provincial railway was putting more into maintenance - more traffic across the line to CP, BN that would now running feeder-style to either end of the line to meet the CN mains? Every class one accepts some derailment costs vs. infinite MOW...
