New Deal on Eastside Rail Line - King County

Sims backed down on the split sale of the eastside rail line with the Port of Seattle, which will now buy the entire 42-mile corridor. King County would still have an option to purchase the Renton-Wilberton trestle section. Story here:

What's really interesting are the comments from several suburban mayors saying don't tear up the rails. Progress?
