You guys on the north end may think it is good for more rail traffic up your way, but what about the 4 or so trainmen and at least 2 MoW men at Weed?

We may be looking at 4 or more employees out of work. There might be two trainmen remaining, but it wouldn't surprise me to see the MoW come out of Medford now. All that will be needed is one local switch job.

And yes, this will probably mean an end to YW. In time, you just might see Timber Products close their Yreka mill. Fortress Investments and their greedy top dollar profit hedge funds means even tighter economic conditions for Siskiyou County, CA and southern Oregon.
