Note to Mike

Well along in my development as a trolley coach overhead contact system engineer during the reconstruction and expansion in Seattle, I was also retained by the post-BART redevelopers of Market Street. Recognizing that several transit fans will be scrutinizing my every word, I'll be developing my history carefully and off-line.

Your short question will get a long answer.

In Seattle, we mixed double poles at one voltage with single poles at a different voltage.
Very carefully - no problems, ever.
