"Dwindling stockpiles" and rising prices should do a lot to end the price support policies that have many Eastern Washington farmers participating in the "landbanking" program of getting paid for not producing. If these guys come back on-line, not only will there be additional loads to go out, but also additional fertilizer traffic in. My guess is that there might already be some guys kicking themselves for signing up for a lot less money than they could be raking in this year.

In other Eastern WA news, the EWG RR has been shut down for the past couple of days by a derailment near Creston. At least 3 on their sides with lots of track damage. Repairs won't start until at least tomorrow.
