Hey George-- Hate to disagree with you, Sir--BUT, the old Frederick & Nelson building in Seattle is currently occupied by NORDSTROM's ...
It is located on PINE Street between 5th & 6th Avenues...
Macy's is INDEED located in the former BON-MARCHE building which takes up the entire square block of 3rd & 4th Avenues, as well as Pine Street and Olive Way...
BOTH of them have "underground loading docks" ... NEITHER of them ever had "RAILS" to them other than the local streetcar tracks of Seattle Transit running on the surface nearby...
The TERRY Ave "NP" line dead ends at Denny Way. The large building on the South side of Denny Way has a blocked off "railroad size" door with block signal. The track is still along the dock INSIDE the building, which is an office building and Art Studio headquarters.
Perhaps THIS is the warehouse for one of the mentioned stores you were discussing.
Do you remember the Victoria Station spurs I was discussing. No one on here seems to remember THAT !! There is a LOT of ex-NP trackage around South Lake Union if you go look for it--it was NOT all ripped up...
