Thanks, Bruce, for the link and thanks, Bruce, for the correction. Some of the photos are old, as the last houses in Lester were bulldozed some time ago. The warehouse and guard house shown in the photos are, I believe, U.S. Forest Service structures. One of the pics was of the horse barn I believe. These structures were still " standing " as of last June, 2012, however they are on " The Forbidden Side " of the tracks, which tells me the P-I had an escort from Tacoma Water cops.
